f/stop: photography with khayer is a personal photography blog run by me from India. I share photographic content with viewers around the world.

When visitors leave comments on the site, I collect:

• The data shown in the comments form (name, email address, website – all optional except as required by the comment system)
• The visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string (to help spam detection)

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to show your profile picture if you use Gravatar. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.

Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so I can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically. Approved comments are visible to the public.

My hosting provider (GoDaddy) automatically collects standard non-personal information in server logs, including:

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Referring page
• Pages viewed and timestamps
• Device information

This data is used anonymously for technical purposes (site maintenance, security, and aggregated traffic analysis).

Images are uploaded by me. I remove embedded location data (EXIF GPS) where possible, but if any remains, it could theoretically be extracted from downloaded images.

The site uses:

• Essential cookies for basic functionality
• Comment-related cookies (if you comment): to save your name, email, and website for convenience (last 1 year)
• Advertising cookies set by Google (described above)

You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings.

Posts may include embedded content (e.g., YouTube videos). These act as if you visited the third-party site directly and may collect data, use cookies, or track interaction. Please review their privacy policies.

I do not currently use separate analytics tools like Google Analytics. Visitor insights come only from aggregated server logs and Google AdSense reporting.

• Comment data: Processed by WordPress and any anti-spam service I enable (e.g., Akismet).
• Advertising data: Shared with Google for ad serving and reporting.
• Server logs: Handled by GoDaddy (see their Privacy Policy: https://www.godaddy.com/legal/agreements/privacy-policy).

• Server logs: Temporarily by GoDaddy

If you have left comments, you can request to receive an export of the personal data I hold about you or ask that I erase it (except where I must keep it for legal or security reasons).

• Comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
• Advertising data is sent to Google.
• Embedded content sends data directly to third-party providers.

I use security measures provided by GoDaddy, including HTTPS encryption.

Visitors come from worldwide. Data processing occurs under Indian law, with possible international transfers by GoDaddy and Google.

This site is not intended for children under 13. I do not knowingly collect data from children.
